Seriously is it sunny there or just protected by the wall? If it's the latter my garden wall could be the place for it(if I ever find one) it gets the afternoon sun.
Heh heh! The one in front is a miniature fuchsia (Tom Thumb) and I'm just waiting for signs of new shoots before cutting it back. Yes, south-facing there and a real sun-trap.

Hi primrose cottage I live in the south and my local garden nursery grows and sells two types of Myrtle, they are kept in pots outside ready to sell all year and they survive.
