Dahlia tuber drying out
I have a small clump of Dahlia tubers that have dried out quite considerably since last december, they feel so light. It's not important if I were to lose them, but would it be too early if I tried to salvage them by bringing them into the warm and seeing if any shoots arise?
After all, I've got nothing to lose.

Verdun: I soaked the tuber in water for about 30 minutes, but it's so shrivelled that I doubt very much if it will come to anything. I laid it on top of some moist peat, but what's the bet it will start to rot!
I forgot to mention that I'm currently keeping it indoors as it's warmer than outside.
