Iris Reticulata

DudashDudash Posts: 2

Can someone tell me why my Iris Reticulata planted in pots, that the leaves are twice the size of the flowers. In Gardeners World this month Monty Don had pots in his hands and the leaves matched the flowers, mine have leaves about a foot long and the flowers half that size.

Many thanks nutcutlet and hostafan1 perhaps Monty would tell us his secret...

Not too warm planted outside in pots on patio, but perhaps compost too rich?
