foxglove seedlings

in Plants
Morning guys . I sowed some T&M foxglove Silver Cub on 18/1 originally in a heated propagator, then in spare room under cover, they are still only 1/4" tall at most how big do they have to be before I attempt potting them on?
They are in little 1x1 modules a few in each.

I put them on when I feel they are big enough to easily handle.
Thanks Gemma
I'll hang on cos they have 4leaves when I would think about doing it,, but with my fingers they are so small. I'm used to veggie seeds and they seem to be somewhat bigger.
It always amazes me how small foxglove seedlings are - and yet they grow into such robust plants. They are far smaller at seedling stage than anything else I grow. The lupins are positive bruisers in comparison
They are tiny aren't they - I'm growing some from seed for the first time. Glad they're meant to be that small at the moment!
Feel more confident now
, I have rogue foliage in the garden identified by forum friends as a foxglove and it's the Size of a big platter I just couldn't believe something that size would grow from these tiny seedlings
Because they are so small I used to sow them direct in the ground where they were to flower, prep the ground really well and sow in August or September then give some protection over winter.
The next spring as they grew on and I would thin them out and any spare plant in other areas, always worked for me here in the south.
I planted my foxglove seeds in a seed tray in the autumn and have just potted them into those little peat (are they peat??) pots that disintegrate in the soil. They were all really small but the roots were really good and within a couple of hours of potting on I am convinced they have doubled in size... I too thought they looked a bit small but I would recommend you pot them on, really glad that I did.
I really would like them in my garden
so I Will carry on with the little seedlings PG and get some of those pots to do the job
.But I think I will also follow you GB and sow the rest of the seeds outside later in the year, How did you protect them over the wnter if they are in a border.?"
