how about a pond to encourage frogs/ toads and don't forget hedghogs. Scatter suet treat bird food around to encourage thrushes and blackbirds to forrage.
I made the solution as stated by Dove but whenever I sprayed using a fine mister, the liquid just seemed to run off the leaves. Previous years I've used pellets and grit but I have a pooch now, so hunting is my new leisure.
In past years I've always guillotined them but this year I'm going to collect in bags and throw in the bin
I've got a dyke(sorry stream)for one boundary can they swim?
I would love a hedge hog ,never deterred them but never seen any evidence of one either. Last year I thought I had a Toad but never saw him when I cleared the hosta pots.
I would scatter Bird food but my blackbirds even feed from a wicker hanging basket filled with homemade fatandseed lumps. I can't ground feed cos of encouraging any vermin

Has anyone read today's news? The Spanish are invading means more night patrolling. Do I use Sangria in traps instead of real ale.
Don't forget the sombrero paella and straw donkey
Thanks for the advice GB
