Do I need to soak my bean and pea seeds before planting them?

    you do not need to do that just sow them and watch them grow

  • Conventional wisdom says yes. They have a short growing period jump start by soaking allows quicker harvest. I always soak and have always had a bumper crop.

    I never soak them, but my mother dipped them in paraffin to stop the mice eating them.
