Do I need to soak my bean and pea seeds before planting them?

you do not need to do that just sow them and watch them grow
Conventional wisdom says yes. They have a short growing period jump start by soaking allows quicker harvest. I always soak and have always had a bumper crop.
Sorry garden girl didn't see your post. His answer is also correct just own preference
I never soak them, but my mother dipped them in paraffin to stop the mice eating them.
