Peach tree

I bought a peach tree from Lidl last year, it grew well over the summer and I put it in the greenhouse over winter. Checking my plants today I noticed that it is starting to flower - should I pollinate it leave it in the greenhouse or what? Just thought it was a bit early.

Thanks

yes pollinate with a fine artists brush as not many bees about at the moment.  My peach trees are outside all year round and I always tickle the flowers to pollinate.  Last year they had the peach leaf curl, but I read somewhere about hanging a bag of eggshells from the tree to prevent it, and I must say I was very impressed because all the leaves opened up again and all was fine. (was a rather large net of egg shells though), plus the peaches were so sweet & juicy!

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Hi I'm curious is it possible to grow a peach tree from stone?
