worm infestation

Hi fellow green fingers,

                               I have a question to ask you, it might be totally stupid to ask but my soil is infested with worms! I am talking  hundreds in two meters square meters,really there is alot.

what is going on with the soil and is it good to have so many in a small area

i grow veg but never seen this many cheers guys

  • hi edd , well they look like common every day earth worms you know the same you see all the time ,but some are the same size but are more strippy in appearance 

    to the soil amendments i added compost and manure last october . can you tell me what type of earth worms they are?

                                       find worms everywhere you can, and put then in your garden

    wack some compost and manure in and lighten up the soil and mix it all in 

    it might take a good year but you should see the difference ask people for them to get you started
