Can anyone identify this plant?

can anyone identify this plant about the size of a small dustbin lid?

imagesorry if picture a bit odd it's my first try.

It looks really healthy (hope its not a weed)

    Foxgloves, not a doubt at all!  That one will produce several flower spikes image

    Definitely a foxglove and as Bob says, it's going to be a bit of a good one.  Leave it where it is ('cos it'll have a big root) and enjoy image

  • Thanks guys I really love thisimage I've never grown them before ,now I have one thanks to the garden fairy (shame its right at the front,but it can stay where it is .)

     I am trying to grow some from seeds I got from GW and they have been in for about 6 weeks and still only the size of a pinhead.image live in hope.

    When your foxglove has finished flowering and the seedcases are beginning to split open cut it down very carefully and swoosh it over your flowerbeds, scattering the seeds around.  Next year you'll have a garden full of foxgloves for free image

    Just unpacked some lily of the valley purchased for£1  should have been 3 found 4what a resultimage any ideas on how deep to plant? I thought I would start them in pots.

    Start in pots so you can be sure they are viable. In a greenhouse if you have one.
