    Yes it could do with either being in the ground or a large planter and plenty compost image

    I'd agree. The pot is small and barely more than half filled with compost. the poor wee thing.

    Thanks for the advice will plant it up tomorrow  should I feed it aswell

    Double check but I'm pretty sure than rhodenendrons like ericaeuos (sp?) soil so don't fill the pot with any old compost
