Finally found out the origin of Brin. It was given to Lady Erskine by Dick Trotter (of Trotter's Merlin fame) from his garden S/W of Inverness. He was a great friend of E.A. Bowles. A lovely Galanthus very strong in stature. Hoping it does well in my garden.
