if you can find a container big enough for the rootball, get it done soon, they're just about to start growing. Remember , if you're moving because you've sold the house, you must tell the buyer.

a friend of mine moved from  a rented house 18 months ago . Her landlord told her she could take anything she'd planted. She had no space for a lovely Daphne she'd planted and asked if I wanted it. I know it's often said Daphne hate being moved, but I reckoned I'd nothing to lose in trying. It is in flower in  my garden as we speak.

Nothing to lose by giving it a go I'd say.

there was a large specimen acer palmatum disectum in our garden when we moved in three years ago, but the previous owner wanted to take the tree with her for sentimental reasons, it was about 6' across and 5' tall. Because it was such a big job she employed the garden designer/plantsman to do it, and he said that in his experience acers need to be moved in November for the move to be successful, any other time of year and they tend to die off. The acer in question is doing well.
