NOW!  It's started to grow!  If it doesn't get back into some moist soil within the next couple of hours it'll have dried out too much to ever grow!!!

Plant it now daisy or it will die.

I'd put it in a pot til it's a bit bigger

Dont worry I've got it in a pot at the moment but I meant to say can I put it outside or keep it in the greenhouse?? image

Outside, it's a hardy native tree.

See if you can find some more. You need more than one to get nuts. Not that you'll get nuts, the squirrels will be quicker than youimage

Strangely I don't actually posses a tree the squirrel buried it in the pit so that's the only one at the moment image

What does the tree look like and is it worth keeping image

I love hazel bushes - I have some that Nutcutlet gave me - they're the ones that have catkins in January/February to reassure us that spring is coming.  I'm planting snowdrops and primroses underneath mine image
