Just been up to the greenhouse and a lot of green shoots are just starting to peek through the soil from leeks , cabbages , corn to sweetpeas and petunias
Not quite it ain't. I've got lots of stuff sending up shoots and it looks good through my south facing windows but step outside and the temperature and wind sent me back indoors smartish
I know what you mean he he i've got all mine under propergator lids so hopefully when the time is right i'll give my garden a cracking start this season.
Is just me or is this winter dragged on this year.
Bitter cold wind, a really lazy one, going straight through and not around. Many shoots of things up, but very limited inclination to work much out there, although the Spring bulbs are coming fast - lots of crocuses, iris reticulata, tulip shoots good and strong, daffs. started - but not so sure about me yet!
Bit of a change today. The wind has dropped, I've even managed a little pottering to the north of the building and bulbs are opening fast in all directions. I'm not relying on it though
here in cheshire its been a cold winter not really frost an ice but cold wins since xmas just warming up now , but dont be kidded , march can be one of the coldest months , i recon,
