thanks kef i'm not around much at the mo, now Captain Cuteness is on the move I have to follow him round every second, his new name is Danger Boy, he wanders round looking for things to bump into, 3 year old just the same, I seem to have very active children who cazn't bear their mother todo anything except play with them and not even glance at a computer screen/magazine!
This is a very old thread @Ajdstitch , but many of us grow sweet peas, so just keep an eye out for any threads
We don't have a dedicated thread as such, like some other forums do, but if you want to ask any questions about sowing and growing them, just start a thread with a suitable title, and you'll get some help. Many people will be wanting to start some soon

thanks fairy girl, I was hoping that the information David posted throughout his growing s.p Would be somewhere concise, I have grown s.p for many years and come up against all the problems others have . I will keep a look out for threads.
I have given up growing sweet peas in the autumn, I find they grow so fast get straggly. Had zero germination with JA no; seed compost, or direct sowing. Now its very early spring MPC, bottom "cold" greenhouse, unable to use "top" one any more, mice ate them, neighbour (proudly it seemed) informed me he had mice under his decking!!I find they catch up very quickly in size sown in spring
