Just switched on the vacuum cleaner.... dead as a do-do,  checked the fuse, nothing wrong there....shall I be happy or sad?

    Btw, I'm not 90 either.

Ha ha David, my show only, nowhere near good enough for anything else!

I need some advice on the tendril thing, do I cut them all off or just the ones that are wrapping around flower stems?

  • Growing them by the cordon method (no need top bother yourself with that at the mo) you do remove all tendrils and compensate by tying them in by hand.

Yours need to retain some tendrils to enable them to climb, so best remove those in the vicinity & about to entwine your flower stems.

Bought a 10 pack of seeds from Eagles at HC this week - didn't realise they were the bees kneesimage

Any tips on how to tackle a greenfly infestation on sweetpea flowers?? I have moved one of the bird feeders over in the hope that the bluetits will find them, but there are a lot thereimageimage

     Jenny & Derek....Mr & Mrs Eagle.

I unashamedly use 'Bug Clear', chicky.....it's systemic and remains effective for  six weeks. It's about as environmentally as you can get, if you follow the instructions to the letter.
