Lovely last tweet by Leonard Nimoy

I thought this might be appropriate here. I was very sad to hear of the passing of 'Mr Spock' and just read that the following was his last tweet sent last Monday:

“A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. Live Long and Prosper.”

I found it very touching and thought it would be nice to share it here.

That's magic, I used to watch Star Trek on my first TV, black and white of course back in the early 70s. Wednesday evening, with a Vesta Beef curry on a tray on my knee. Only had a back yard then so no gardening.

What a lovely way to remember him.

    Thanks for sharing

I felt it most profound and perfectly timed. I loved it.

May Mr Nimoy rest in peace. I have many fond memories of Star Trek as a child in the 70s. The Vulcan mind probe, Spock saying 'logical Captain', the sound of those sliding doors,Scottie needing at least 8 hours to save the Enterprise from exploding and Kirk telling him he's got 5 minutes followed by 'Al do ma best captain'.
