I freaked once when I was being driven and I pulled the sun visor down to find a HUGE spider I tried to jump out of the car while it was still moving
I think I'd die if a mouse popped up while I was driving. I know you said you like mices but my attitude would be that one less in the mousey population won't hurt
We had a lizzard in the car last year, it crawled into my rucksack when we stopped for lunch in a cafe in France......and then...back in the car and sat in the back..it decided to venture out and ran up my leg but because no one else had seen it, I was told not to be so soft it's only a lizzard, I don't think anyone believed me...
The following day I was driving and it ran across the dash board... there... now do you believe me....there's a lizard in the car...I've never seen people exit a car so quickly ...needless to say I'm not allowed to leave my bag on the floor anymore when stopping for lunch...
Parked my car in the Somerset countryside some years ago. Man in a car nearby came across immediately and said a snake has just got in your front wheel. He was right, an adder was just making itself comfortable in there. Took me quite a while, using a walking stick, to persuade it that wasn't a good idea but eventually it came out underneath the car and headed for the other front wheel. I managed to fend it off and out into the open and it was not amused. I rolled it across the short grass, under the wire fence and into the long grass the other side. Hopefully it not only survived all that trauma but learned a useful lesson in the process. I wouldn't have seen it of course if the man in the other car hadn't seen it and said so. I would have driven off and the poor thing would have had no chance.
Topbird, I am going into town today with only one thing in mind - to buy a mousetrap!
Mind you, I have just read on another thread about Aldi having lots of plant bargains, and there is an Aldi right opposite where I intend to buy the mousetrap. . . so maybe it's mousetrap plus plants. Very exciting!

This thread is ever so slightly freaking me out ....
. Mice, rats, rotting rats - can't really deal with any of them - bad news for a country girl!
Definitely a trap for the one in the car - imagine it running over your shoulder whilst you were driving - aaaargh!!

A mouse wouldn't bother me too much, a spider though, now that would be truly scary, can't stand being in confined spaces with spiders.
Vermin
destroy. Boris the spider
I'll get my tin hat.
The big cheese mouse traps, ready baited with peanut butter. Irresistable to rodents.
