Dead heading snowdrops

Is it necessary/advisable to dead head snow drops or should you just leave the whole thing to die back?

    I don't know about anyone else, Lulu, but I just let mine die down. I have found that by some "miracle" they have self-seeded themselves into various areas of the garden. Any that haven't landed in a suitable place I dig up and replant somewhere else.

    I dont either, they self seed.

    Let them self seed, you may find a new variety pops up in your garden
