in Plants
Hi all
Can anyone out there help, my snowdrops are very small this year any reason why. I haven't moved them or anything

Are they becoming overcrowded? When mine get too tightly packed they have smaller leaves, some come up blind and bulbs get pushed above ground level.
In the sticks near Peterborough
No they are in very small clumps with plenty of room for growth
Did you fed them last year?
Feed doh!
No I just left them, should I have fed them?
You can feed them once the flowers have finished. Give them a low nitrogen feed of something like Tomato fertiliser.
Ok I will give it a try
I planted 80 snowdrops from my late mothers garden in my borders last year and they are all in flower this week.
I wish I had as many as that I just love those flowers
Some bonemeal around the base of the foliage always works for me
