Geranium Rozanne-- it says blue in the description but mine was definitely lavender.   Plant of the Centenary.  I had it in a large concrete pot and had gorgeous lavender flowers from June through October.   It came just as a cylinder root thing in the pot and turned into this. (I don't have a good picture of it.)  All it needs it some deadheading.  Geraniums don't like very rich soil.  (Ignore the man in the background.)

  • There's a shorter form of Verbena bonariensis called 'Lollipop' - the bees love it image

Not sure which type these are, Matt. But they come back every year without any help or care from me.

Could they be the same as your pictured ones, Watery? Geranium Rozanne does ring a bell with me from a previous discussion on this forum.

  • Great feedback guys, a lot to mull over!

  • Schizostylis (had to Google the spelling) for late summer/autumn flowering. Sword shape leaves most of the year. So easy to maintain, and they spread so well. I have them as a river running through a flower bed by the pond. Small red sedum. a succulent that can be draped over a pot. House leeks, red/pink all year around. Could go on.

  • Geranium johnsons blue, ajuga, aubretia, bluebells, plumbago, perennial forget me not.
