sarcacocca

my friend gave me a sarcacocca a year ago, ithad been out of the ground a few weeks when i got it, it's in west corner, but hardly any sun sept-april, it has berries, a little new growth, but no flowers, do i just need more patience?

    Mine is tucked away in a dark spot.

    I was digging over the soil near it the other day and the fragrance from it was heavenly.

  • I have confusa facing north and it didn't do many flowers in its first year. Now that we are in year two, it has lots of small strong smelling flowers and a surprising number of black berries, far more than I would have expected based on the number of flowers I thought it had produced!
