lorr 1500, there's nothing wrong with it! It should look like that at this time of year, and will do for another few weeks yet. When you see new growth then you can re pot or take cuttings and start watering and give a weak feed. It's still too cold and the sun too weak for it to get going.

Just pick off those dead leaves and keep it on the dry side for a few more weeks. Look OK to me   image

Looks good to me. It'll spring into life later on. Cut off any dead bits like Dave and Mollis say, and also cu off any stem that has gone pappy or wrotten.

I agree, it looks just fine for Feb.

Keep up the good work and it'll be shooting away in no time.

    Thanks for your replies

that pic is of one of the more healthier ones,

Most are a lot worse  - very pappy and I have cut them down was just about to throw them out so will bide my time and wait and see.

Last winter they all carried on flowering through the winter whilst in the greenhouse

  • We hardly had a Winter last year lorr - it only went below freezing twice here (East midlands.)  In normal Winters, they need protection from any degree of frost which they may not have had this Wiinter in an unheated greenhouse.

Was it possible you over watered a bit?

    Utah, USA.
  • Did wonder if it was because I have not been watering them. Just let the soil dry out.

Not got a heater - but we have not had too many frosts

Just have to wait and see I suppose
  • "Wait and see" is the best remedy. get rid of dead leaves and soft stems, then wait till it bursts into growth again.Hopefully lol image

  • If the weather is cold they're better off not being watered.  A lot of plants can cope witih cold and dry, it's cold and wet that kills them.
