Weather Proof Garden Furnitures
The brand of teak oil Im using is getting expensive. Its cheaper to buy a brand new outdoor chair!
I tried using cooking oil on an outdoor wooden chair and it's rubbish as it doesnt absord in or it doesnt seem to be "at one" with the wood chair.
Another product weve been using is Butinox but I dont like the brown paint finish. I finding a product with a more natural looking translucent finish lie this:

What do you guys use to protect outdoor furnitures?

Cooking oil won't work the particles in the oil are too big. Go to your local hardware store an oil based wood preserver will do the job. Surely you have something like that in the US of A.

Thanks for the suggestion guys.
Linseed oil allowed to soak in, the wiped off with a clean cloth.. then a coat of turtle wax over top that.
