I just thought: "Edelweiss" it's an alpine flower. It's in fact so alpine that the wild variety only grows on the Alps? However...I'm sure the Edelweiss has been created (stupid word lol) but there is at least one variety that also in lower regions.
Some seed company has a mix of flowers in set colours. Ie all red , all yellow etc
I think on the packet it says " the yellow garden" the red garden etc'
These may be usefully.
I have also y yesterday read in a gardening magazine that. " Ammi majus. " is beautiful for flower arrangements. Someone sent me a full packet from the seed swap last year do you want to try it .pm me if so with your address.
And granma... there these ones...they use them in bouquets...they are extremely fragile...they look like transparent leafs. Very dry. Almost silver-white and they are totally beautiful

If Edelweiss wouldn't look totally stunning in a bridal bouquet and table decorations,than I don't know what would.

What about white hydrangea too? Do you perhaps have a neighbour with an established shrub?
