Good morning, my knowledgable forum friends .... Like others on here I imagine, I'm itching to get moving in the garden and I don't just mean the hard work and necessary chores
... I need to move a red currant bush and wonder if can do it now? I can wait if moving means losing flowers. Thanks in anticipation

I would move it now. Try and take as much root as possible. I always add in lots of feed into the planting hole to help it along.
The Blackbirds seem to appreciate my Redcurrant fruits!
Thanks Blairs, have prepped where I want it to go but have decided too shattered to have a go now, think its coffee n cake time instead ....
It was a baby last year but I put it In a place where I really need an evergreen for screening. Going to replace it with red hedger but still love the shrub, flowers are so pretty
. Tomorrow's task then, thanks all
