Tulip Bulbs

Rummaging around my seed collection for spring I have come across some tulip bulbs I should have planted before Christmas....

What should I do with them now? Is it too late to plant outside/ pots or do they keep until next winter? Or have I killed them already image

Plant them, they might be OK image

They'll be dead by before next winter

  • Unless they've dried and shrivelled they should be fine.  They'll flower later than usual though.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • I've just this afternoon found some tulip bulbs, and they've started sprouting!   So I'll plant them in pots I think.   Any ideas what I can put with them, or would they look alright on their own.   How many to a pot (in inches for the pot)?

Jennifer, as they are late, if it were me, I would cram then in a pot, double layered, as long as they dont actually touch each other they will look lovely.
