Oh how good of you, many thanks indeed. They do look fine don't they? The true daffodil shape which is, I believe, called King Alfred, although I could be wrong. Large trumpet, wide petals, perfect shape, beautiful. And they only cost one pound sterling a bunch. Value. With a white one too.
About the size of the image for posting here, I read somewhere that this website automatically made images fit where they are to go and I didn't think about cropping them, so you did the best thing there. At last they can all be seen, with the white one.
Hi again. Just a message to nutcutlet. Since I saw the Crocus website from the link you gave me I have just received their catalogue in the post, and I did not contact them, at all. That is a bit weird. How can that happen? How did they get my postal address? I have no idea, I really don't. It's just a weird coincidence. While I still like the look of the Thalia I don't think I will be ordering it now. Our "garden" is just a border at the front and a veg patch at the back and we eat all that we grow! It was good to have a look though, and thank you again for that link. Meanwhile, I still buy the daffodils in bud from the supermarket and see what I get. Maybe another white one will be in amongst them.
Sorry about my last post above being in bold type. I tried to edit it but that did not work. I've no idea why it happened. I had no intention to shout, so sorry about that. I hope it does not happen again, now, when I post this message!
