Indoor Hyacinths
in Talkback
I have 3 lovely white hyacinth bulbs blooming away in my hall.
I would like to pot them up again for outdoors next year.
I did this last year. I looked in the pot yesterday and nothing is happening. (There are also miniature daffs in the pot)
I do tend to be the kiss of death to all bulbs but don't want to waste them.
I would prefer a pot to planting them outside.

I've stuck some in the ground before and they did come albeit small. Perhaps it's a tad early for ones outdoors just yet.
I will keep mine watered with water containing plant food for the next month then plant into the garden in March/April where I want them next year.. I would expect them to flower every spring for several years to come. Mags
Sorry - just reread your posting. I've never done that, but I would continue to water & feed them in the pot they are in. Let them dry off after all leaves have died. Re pot into your outdoor pot in Sept or when you see outdoor hyacinth bulbs on sale in shops. Mags
