I havent got any myself, but from memory, its always one of the first items when GW is back on the tv, so i would wait just a few weeks more, no point in risking it
I have cut down my Miscanthus. I have found that if I leave it any later it becomes harder to do without cutting the new shoots. It would be wise to check to see if the new growth has started to appear.
Yes cut them to the ground now but then cover them with the spent growth or straw, this acts as a thatchy mulch and allows the new growth to pop through in the Spring.

Just looked this up as one of my happiest grasses has a fair bit of new growth.
Will chop and cover it up with some trimmings
Mine ( in Devon ) are getting the chop this week and going through the shredder.
