Do you mean they didnt make any berries? Are you in the UK? We had quite a long dry spell, maybe that stopped the fruit growing? Or with that terrible wet winter, maybe the flowers didnt get pollinated. Either way, nowt you can do im afraid, the plants are alive and thats the main thing, you should get berries this year ....fi gers crossed we dont get any extreme weather
Can't honestly remember if they had flowers but didn't prune them this year. Birds haven't eaten them. In the past I have pruned a little too vigorously but only do this to one bush and every other year. Strange my neighbour doesn't have berries either. Could be non pollination because I had very few apples this year on the tree.
