Yes, sulphate of potash is good stuff. I sprinkle it around the base of the plants (if I remember!) when they are beginning to grown and form flowers, and then perhaps later when fruiting starts.
Thanks everyone by tomorrow evening [ Friday ] I will have planted 2 Blackcurrants 2 Gooseberries 1 Rhubarb crown and 20 Raspberry canes all in tubs on a flat roof 3ft wide x 16ft long they have been well watered in except the Rhubarb is there anything else I need to do apart from growing wings to harvest them

Yes it will be ok - well rotted farmyard manure would be better
