Too embarassed to put pics up of my garden, not long moved here, just found out the whole back garden that is gravelled is all weed killed. i had a 8ft by 7ft square with pallets and artificial grass, infested with mice, so hauled it all off, to find out the soil is cemented and weed killed, so i will have to gravel that, and use potted plants
Front is not too bad, made borders, put roses in, nothing happening with them, buddlea, had to grass seed a square where they had a shed, so hope that comes in, as ive no car for turf or anyone to lay it. will take pics once i see some colour.
Thank goodness the compost bins are now empty and put on the garden, that should help this years plants. More plants are now beginning to make move and the wind has stopped.
Morning, I have just been out to look at the tree again, it's a Japanese Flowering Cherry. I think it is 'Incisa Kojo No Mai'. A small shrubby tree with zigzag shoots and single flowers, its about 20 years old and only 4' tall. No pruning necessary.
This forum is really making me look closer at the plants and seeing things I have missed, thank you.
davids10 is that an agave outside, are they hardy as I have agave Americana in the greenhouse and it is ferocious.
Hi Runnybeak. It is the exit from the pond, which then flows into the main stream which flows the whole length of the garden, and is lovely when it is not flooding. It can vary from about 3 inches to 4 feet deep.

A few pictures from around the garden today. A little bit of sun makes a big difference.
