I live in the north where it's too cold to put anything outside until well in the spring. I sow peas inside on windowsill then put out when weather permits and they never fail
Hia busy lizzie I've planted them in long half pipes or guttering seen a lot of people do it this way so I thought I'd give it a go. It's supposed to stop mice burrowing up and eating the peas but we'll see.
I have just started some early peas early onward on damp kitchen roll when they swell I put them in the bottom of the airing cupboard and when they shoot I will space them out into a section of drainpipe in a light cool position, when they are about 4 inches high they will go into the allotment netted to protect from birds.
