Garden worms in indoor pots

I'm overwintering potted plants on a bedroom windowsill I've come to realise some of them have either earth worms or more probably brandling worms living in the compost. The plants seem to be doing OK but I'm concerned that damage might occur to plants in smaller pots before Spring comes. Anyone any ideas how I might safely eradicate them? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

I also say not a problem. Far worse is overwintering pests like green/white fly, other flies or caterpillars. image
