ID please…

Morning!

You were all so helpful with my bulbs that needed identifying, so I have a few more… image

 

I'm a complete gardening novice, I look at these and I presume that they are weeds, but I could be entirely wrong. The garden wasn't looked after for at least a year before we moved in, these are all over the place image

 Also wondering what to do with this plant, does it need the old flower/seed heads pruned back?

    I think 1. is Petaglossis sempervirens, green alkanet (a weed but nice and blue for a wild area.

    and 2 id a honeysuckle and the dead bits are something else growing through which should be removed.

    Old flower/seed heads can always be removed, any time

    Those seed heads look like acanthus, but I can't see any of their leaves so it might be acanthus spinosa.
