name of shrub

Hi, I see these green leaf shrubs with yellow splashes on them, like paint. Any ideas what the name is. It's quite common in gardens

    Pic? Is it big or small; evergreen; are the yellow bits flowers and if so when do they appear?

    Sounds like Euonymus fortunei Mark, if they are small bushes.  They come with white splashes too.  Larger ones may be the hedging types, Euonymus japonicus.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
