Hi just joined so new to this can anyone help me.Is it better to plant all lilies in ericaeceous compost.

    Hi gardenlady, Most lillies like slightly acidic soils but I grow mine in neutral soil and they do fine.  I'm no expert but I think that they like good soil so I'd add some organic compost when you plant them.

    You can plant them anytime from now onwards

    Hi, im basically echoing what Yvie said, i dont live far from her and have the same results, what sort of lillies do you want to grow? image

    Just about to plant some I bought recently- first time I've tried so will add some good soil and hope the lily beetles don't kill them.Saw a programme about them recently and they sounded easy to grow.
