Angels Trumpets
in Plants
I have got my Angels Trumpets in the greenhouse the leaves have all died off they are a year old and about 3 foot high. If it gets cold I have a heater but should they be wrapped and also what should I do with them come spring please.

If this is the same as Datura, mine are in pots and the ground but they must be decduous as mine always loose their leaves, SF Bay Area, California
They need to be frost free.
If its going to be really cold, add a layer of fleece.
The tall stems can be cut down to about a foot or 30cm.
They will then shoot in spring and grow rapidly if well fed.
You can use the bits you cut off as cuttings. Have a look here.

Assuming Brugmansia, then they do need to be kept frost free. They can be stored in a pot, dry, in a dark place like a cellar/garage.
Brill thanks been trying to grow them for years don't want to mess it up
If in a heated GH then they should be fine there and leaf up again now.
The trouble is ''angels trumpets'' is also used to describe Datura, a similar plant but not the same as Brugmansia.
brugmansia and Datura are different plants.
the flowers of Brugmansia hang down, datura is an annual and the flowers face upwards
Datura are actually short lived perennials but are usually considered annuals in the UK.
We get Daturas popping up in the vegetable patch if we are not up together with the weeding but we pull them up before they get too big. The first year we were here, they were everywhere and well above 6ft in height. I was tempted to leave them as they gave off a lovely scent but they are toxic.
