I receive a regular newsletter from a fungi foray site - this month's has fascinating information about symbiotic relationships between trees and fungi and microrhyzal organisms which I thought many gardeners would find interesting.

    Very interesting Dove.  I was thinking of getting some bark as a mulch and now there's an even better reason than just as a weed suppressant.

    It was an interesting piece about it on last week's Gardeners Question Time on Radio 4. It's worth a listen.
