One walked across my computer screen this morningimage.  A vine weevil that is, not a moleimageimage.

  • This might be heresy but can I put Long Meadow into Room 101.  It is really boring - I would like to save Nigel though. I like to be inspired by gardening programmes - I just look at it and think it needs a flipping good gardener to go and sort it out.

Weeds - probably here already, but they've started growing again.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Neighbours who don't weed their garden in spring, but instead wait until autumn then spray the whole thing with Roundup. Thanks for all the seeds..

Also Rhododendrons that are planted and then allowed to spread. I'm looking at you, Dundee City Council..

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • Neighbours with bristles! They are all growing under the fence and I keep digging them up but the roots are so deep and they break off. They're going to cover my veg patch. GrR!
