The simplest solution is to Ignore him - a good feature on this site.

Good luck with the hedge and the neighbour - hope the little bit of prickliness that appeared won't discourage you from visiting us again image

I hope the hedge cutting goes well sthIndingrower. Have your neighbours agreed to get the hedge cut by their gardener or allow you to hack back as much as you need to give you a bit more space? (Its amazing just how much space a hedge can swallow up!)

Apologies about the perhaps less than helpful comments that invaded your thread. Unfortunately we have a quite strange old man that seems intent on stirring up the forum. Still: gives the rest of us some amusement! image

I have yet to read any posts from MA that suggest he is an expert in any subject.

Just want to say that while I know how irritated and annoyed people are, I think it'd be good if we left the subject of MA now.

I just think that as this is a public forum it really doesn't reflect the usually kind and helpful nature of people on here if we continue to complain about him, particularly as all is quiet at the moment - new posters may be put off and we don't want that to happen image

Shall get off soapbox and put kettle on - coffee or tea?  Oh, and there's fruit cake for later image

I second that Dove. Wise words as ever. The "ignore" feature works a treat , posting just disappear like magic.

I hit  it once by mistake thinking I had clicked to ignore the black box which had appeared. Took me a while to realise I'd blocked someone.

No fruit cake for me thanks Dove.   Have to get into a posh frock on the 17th for the annual ball of our dance club.

Very frosty here today so no gardening but no wind either so a good day to start tying the winter windbreak mesh to the field side of our fences.
