the shockwave flash player has crashed on laptop windows 8, i googled this and loads come up of fixing it . can anyone recommend please ? not sure where to go with this......

firefox is the browser im using Edd, i tried the first link , downloaded it . but still get message that it is unresponsive. do you suggest i change to google chrome ?
