Timber cleaning
Hello
Earlier this year i replaced the wooden lathes on my wrought iron garden bench, I bought some birch wood ones and gave them several coats of teak oil and then pure linseed oil. Over the summer the wood has now gone black with the rain, it does rub off to a certain extent but has got down into the grain.
Has anybody got any ideas on effectively cleaning out the grain

Thanks for that Edd
What wax due you suggest for outdoor use
Would that work on tool handles Edd? Got a few tools picked up from the scrappy that could do with something doing to the wooden handles.
Ta Edd will give that a try. I guess it wouldn't be expensive to 're-handle' them if there is such a term, but would be more fun to keep them going as they are.
