    I have used dripping in the past and wonder if it should be avoided and whether suet is better.  I can't seem to find a definitive answer on the RSPB site.

    I shall certainly attempt a vegetable suet fat ball of my own.

    Made my own.  I found a old shop brought cone that had been pecked clean. I grabbed a jar of peanut butter from the back of the cupboard. Mixed it with seed and covered the feeder. Then I pressed seeds to the outside. My resident Robin is very interested. (He's not dared try it yet.)
