Overwintering young delhinium plants

Hi,

Just bought a couple of young delphiniums from the GC.  They are about 2 inches in height and have about 4 small leaves.

Is it better to overwinter these in pots or plant them now in the garden ?   Are there still slugs about as they love delphiniums ?

Thanks,

chris

They are too small to plant out now-it would be advisable to leave it till next spring-they are hardy but protect the pots from freezing temperatures

Slugs were out and about in numbers this morning.
