Hi everyone I have the afore mentioned fern in my planter box.its in full shade and moist well drained soil. The leaves have now started browning and looking like they are dying back. Is this normal ?

Hardy just means it will survive the winter. It will be back in the spring as said .If you look closely at the crown you may even see next years leaves ready to go!
