I think this site is a bit like my knitting - someone must've dropped a stitch early on and now whenever you get one bit of the pattern back on track another bit is out of kilter.
There's probably no answer but to pull it all out, wind the yarn up a and cast on again ........... but do we want that?

No dove , don't really want that , (don't tell anyone , but I can't knit by hand , ) I been knitting with one needle for a while though
So I'd be in a right mess
A gran who cant knit by hand, surely not
