I fancy trying some tall grasses. Saw a pretty pink one , and those very tall ones for the back of the border.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • I'm definitely temped to treat myself to a White David Austin Rose as I currently don't have any white ones, but I'm also tempted by Orange too lol
Also like Lyn I fancy adding some more Grasses image

I just bought 1 rose on my wish list while in England - "Summer Song", David Austin. Another I would like is "Pat Austin".

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Ngcards - The Generous Gardener is a good rose from David Austin.

I would like the Persian Ironwood tree and the Foxglove tree

just googled Canna Ehmannii , like it a lot.

    Devon.
  • Yes, it's a beastie! They grow it at Saltram NT nearby, but never sell it in the plant shop. Gonna have to get friendly with the gardeners there!

I could send you some in the Spring Susan. I should think someone will start a seed and plant swap thread in Jan/Feb time.
