Variegated wallflower

I have a variegated perennial wallflower that has some new leaves that have reverted to non variegated. Should I cut this shoot off?

Yes, cut them off or the whole plant will revert.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • Wow that was a quick reply. Thanks for that. If I use this to make a cutting will it produce non variegated plants?

  • I've found these respond well to a drastic hack every two years, although I know that they are easy too propagate from cuttings so perhaps I'll do this as I'm sure I'll kill it soon
